The grass gator 4680 extra heavy duty replacement trimmer head will fit 99-percent of all straight shaft gas trimmers, including: ryobi, john deere, echo, stihl, craftsman, toro, cub cadet, troy bilt, poulan, and most other makes. It is designed for heavy duty, commercial grade, gas trimmers with engines of 25-cc or more. The grass gator heavy duty is excellent for both grass, weeds, and heavy brush. The tough solid steel blades will provide excellent service. The grass gator head is easy to install and is easy to use. This product replaces the grass gator 4650.

I thought being partly plastic it wouldn't stand up to heavy brush. It does, along with tall grass and high weeds it cuts small trees maybe 3/8-1/2 inch Dia. If the trimmer has the power it could cut larger. Far as I'm concerned, this is a keeper, the original string attachment that came with the unit may never go back on. But be very careful, I'm believe it's safe if handled correctly. Turns a string trimmer into a weapon of mass destruction. Cuts **stuff** up to 1/2" in diameter. Not anything you'd hand your children or wife to use helping you, IMHO! Cuts very well at quite low RPM of trimmer. Really scary at high RPM! Transforms a string trimmer from a wimpy string-eating appliance to a "hold on to it and go, cuts- through- anything-aggressively" monster. I am very pleased with it, that said, I now consider it my most dangerous lawn care implement.. God help you if any of the (steel) blades come loose, but seemingly well constructed to preclude such. It looked tough, so I ended up getting it at my local tractor supply store. Let me tell you if your looking to just trim some fence line or edge the driveway this is not the head you want to get. But ! If you want to clear a path through the Cambodian jungle then you have found your trimmer head. It was a snap to put on to. Just place a screw driver into my trimmer neck to stop it from rotating unscrew the old head and screw this one on, and your finished. Then I got to work and I can't stress the damage this thing can do. I was literally cutting down 1.5 inch to 2 inch thick trees with this thing. It wasn't an instant cut but dang close. And brier's and thick weeds don't stand a chance. I might have well been in the yard swinging a light saber.
